Super Bowl XXII

Post by Njord »

Heya JJape!

So we meet again!

Perhaps I will get my revenge this time? :D

When are you available? I'm free most evenings except Friday from 21.00 OGT onwards.

Best regards

Hello Njord,

we could try to get this played today 22.30 OGT. I have another match earlier (20.00), hopefully it will finish in time. If not, we will have to try another day, as that time is already quite late.

My only other reliable availability is Friday 18-21 OGT or Sunday 10.00 OGT. Then I will be travelling, and next possible day is 17.9. (though I could try to play by hotel-wlan earlier, but would prefer not).

Let me know what suits you.

Tricky indeed! Tonight it's a bit late starting 22.30, and I guess earlier start is unlikely?

Tomorrow I'm not available.

We could go for the 17/9 but my only problem with that is my second child is expected on 15th so it's a bit risky. ;)

Best regards

I can inform you if I finish early.

I can also try for Saturday evening, actually. Not sure how early I could start (need to confirm), but my flight on Sunday is so late, that starting late is not problem.

Well, that was a fast game (partly due to my dark elves being almost pitch cleared in second half, though managed draw). I will check online around 21.30 and again at 22.00, if you are ready to play.

So, the final game of the XXII season has been played.

As JRCO pointed out it was the two bloodweiser teams facing each other in the final. The undefeated Blitzers vs the Raiderz.

Game started off with Blitzers recieving but by clever use of a wizard the Raiderz managed to sack the elf ball carrier and get hold of the ball. Due to the fact that the two wardancers were having a little nap in the dugout Blitzers didnt manage to get the ball back and Raiderz scored 1-0 in the last turn of the half. In the second half Raiderz were on the offensive. After a drive that lasted for the entire half Raiderz scored in their last turn of the game. It was a close call at one point when the ball was dropped and neither side managed to pick ut up for several turns.

So, final results:

Blitzers 0 - Raiderz 2

Kudos and thanks to JJape for the game! Best of luck in upcoming seasons.

Best regards,

Njord
