You have to declare blitz befor stand up.

It works weell :
1) declare blitz
2) stand up
3) Move untli last step before leap
4) Leap
5) Block
6) .....oups.... It worked so well.....Your opponent is dead )

So you have actually done that - expect of course having step 3 there because with it everything would be trivial? Because I am quite sure when touching player for step 2 or without explicitly standing up and going directly to 4 it removed the blitz. And that is how I would have expected it to work so I just wonder what went wrong.

Yeah I have done it and it works well.

I have read that for some player after you stand up the blitz icon may disapear (doesn't on my computer but for some it seems it happens) but it doesn't cancel the blitz.

You just has to make sure you have declared the blitz before you stand up.

Totally agree, in bb1 it's really easy to stand up, then leap and blitz.

You still have to declare blitz first.

It is not so different in BB2. Mechanic is quite similar except you have to use a dialog box instead of the "L" short cut.

Yep, it's all the difference, key shortcuts make the difference with "B", move, then "L" to jump
